Pontotoc Electric Linemen Participate in Electric Expo Hosted by Tombigbee Electric

Apprentice linemen Ben Bond and Stewart Owen, along with General Manager Frankie Moorman and Human Resources Manager Jennifer Johnson, represented Pontotoc Electric Power Association at the Electric Expo hosted by Tombigbee Electric Power Association this week.

The event is designed for high school students interested in careers with electric power companies, such as line work and right-of-way roles. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the work involved in the utility industry.

Organizers and participants noted the event provided valuable insights into the electric power sector. Attendees included students and teachers, who were engaged and eager to learn about potential career paths in the industry.

Pontotoc Electric officials said they enjoyed meeting students and sharing information about their work in the community.
