Cold Front to Bring Heavy Rain, Winds in Region Thursday

A cold front will move into the region from the northwest Thursday morning, bringing tropical moisture from the remnants of Hurricane Arthur, according to the National Weather Service.

The front is expected to cause periods of heavy downpours and gusty winds throughout the day. The timing of the weather event is forecasted to be from Thursday morning through Thursday evening.

The confidence level in the forecast is low, with a 1 in 5 chance of accuracy, the weather service said.
