UMMC’s PROMISE Program mentors Mississippi students on path to medical school

Growing into a physician requires more than ambition. It demands guidance, support, and opportunities, according to the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Through its PROMISE Program, 32 students from colleges and universities across Mississippi are receiving mentorship, hands-on experiences, and resources aimed at preparing them for medical school, UMMC said.

The program is designed to support students as they navigate the path to becoming physicians, emphasizing the importance of guidance and practical experience along the way.
