Student volunteer applications open through July 20

The National Weather Service has announced that its student volunteer application period remains open through Monday, July 20.

The agency is seeking college students who are interested in volunteering. Those interested are encouraged to submit their applications online at www.weather.gov/meg/volunteer.

The program offers students an opportunity to gain experience and contribute to weather services in their communities.
