Severe storms possible in parts of Arkansas, Missouri, and Tennessee this weekend

A low to medium chance of severe storms has been issued for areas across eastern Arkansas, the Missouri Bootheel, and West Tennessee, according to weather authorities.

Multiple rounds of severe weather could impact the region, with the first expected Saturday afternoon and evening, and a second possible overnight Saturday into early Sunday morning, the National Weather Service said.

Damaging wind gusts are the main concern, but residents are advised to stay weather aware and monitor updates as conditions develop.
