Severe Storm Threat Expands to Memphis Area, NWS Warns

The National Weather Service in Memphis has expanded the enhanced risk for severe storms to include portions of the Memphis metro area, according to a social media post.

All hazards remain possible across the Mid-South today, including damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes, the NWS warned.

Residents are encouraged to submit storm reports via the agency’s website at https://www.weather.gov/meg/submitstormreport.
