Pontotoc Youth Leadership Students Learn Lifesaving Skills in CPR Training

PONTOTOC, Miss. — Students in the Pontotoc Youth Leadership program received Hands-Only CPR training this week, led by Ken Kerr of ReadyMeNow. The session aimed to teach lifesaving skills that could potentially save lives in emergency situations, according to program organizers.

After the training, students received Certificates of Completion for their community service projects completed during the 2025-2026 program year. Organizers praised the group for their dedication, hard work, and willingness to serve the community.

Program officials expressed hope that participants leave with a strong sense of pride and a lasting love for their community. They emphasized the importance of leadership and service skills gained through the program.
