Saturday in Pontotoc: market until noon, band send-off at 1

Saturday’s downtown plans include a morning at Pontotoc Farmers Market and an afternoon send-off for the PHS Warrior Band. The market’s Oct. 24 notice lists hours of 8 a.m. to noon at 25 West Jefferson Street, while the band’s gathering is set for 1 p.m. on The Square in Pontotoc.

The market flyer names Jason Carter as its musical guest and includes a map of the vendor lineup. Listed offerings range from bread, honey and produce to flowers and crafts, giving shoppers a guide to the stalls before they arrive.

The band’s notice asks the community to support the students as they head to Brandon for the state championship. Supporters are invited to bring signs, banners, bells and whistles to the 1 p.m. send-off. The complete notices are linked below, along with earlier coverage of Pontotoc Nights.
