Pontotoc County to Host July 4th Celebrations with Route Changes

PONTOTOC, Miss. — The July 4th celebrations in Pontotoc County will include a parade with a new route, according to organizers. The parade will start at the Pontotoc Junior High School parking lot and conclude at the parking lot behind Three Rivers or First Baptist Church.

Organizers said bike riders and children with battery-operated ride-ons can end at the courthouse. All other participants are advised to turn right onto West Green Street to reach the designated parking areas.
