Pontotoc County intern recognized for work and art
Bethany, an intern at the Pontotoc County Chamber of Commerce, was awarded an internship through her school’s Frank K. Spain program this semester, according to the chamber.
She has completed 100 hours at the chamber and created several paintings depicting Pontotoc County. On Monday night, chamber staff, including Sydnei and others, attended a support event for her.
During the event, Bethany discussed her painting projects and her responsibilities while working at the chamber. Her artwork will be featured on various items in the near future.
Anyone interested in commissioning art this summer, such as storefront window displays or paintings, is encouraged to contact the chamber for connections to Bethany.
