Most of Mississippi to stay dry with isolated showers in the north
Most of Mississippi is expected to stay dry Thursday, according to weather forecasts. However, isolated showers are possible in the northern parts of the state, particularly in northern Mississippi.
Temperatures will be cooler than recent days, with high temperatures ranging from the upper 70s to the lower 80s, the National Weather Service reported.
Forecasters say residents should be prepared for a generally dry day with some scattered showers in the northern region. No significant weather disturbances are expected across the state.
