Mississippi DPS offices to close Monday for Confederate Memorial Day

Mississippi Department of Public Safety offices will be closed Monday in observance of Confederate Memorial Day, according to a news release from the department.

The closure applies to all Driver Service Bureaus across the state. Offices will reopen and resume normal business hours on Tuesday, April 28.

The department expressed appreciation for law enforcement and first responders working during the holiday to keep roadways safe, the release said.
