Mid-South to experience daily showers and thunderstorms this week

Daily showers and thunderstorms are expected throughout the upcoming week across the Mid-South, according to the National Weather Service.

While exact rainfall totals may vary, forecasters are confident that most areas will receive between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain through Friday.

The persistent weather pattern could impact outdoor plans and contribute to localized flooding in some areas, officials said.

Residents are advised to stay updated on weather alerts and exercise caution during storms.
