Heat and isolated storms forecast for Memphis area, NWS warns

The National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee, issued a forecast highlighting hot weather and isolated storms for the area.

Temperatures are expected to produce heat indices above 105 degrees Fahrenheit. The forecast calls for isolated rain and thunderstorms, mainly across northern Mississippi. Some storms could contain gusts up to 60 mph, according to NWS officials.
