Flood Watch and Heat Advisory Issued for Northwest Tennessee

Showers and thunderstorms are forecast to impact northwest Tennessee on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Memphis.

The agency has issued a Flood Watch for the region due to the potential for elevated flooding risks.

In addition, a Heat Advisory remains in effect, with triple-digit heat indices expected to persist through the end of the week, officials said.
