Flash Flood Warning Issued for Parts of Mississippi and Arkansas
A flash flood warning is in effect until 7:15 p.m. CDT for parts of Mississippi and Arkansas, including Friars Point, Mississippi, and Marvell, Arkansas, according to the National Weather Service.
Radar estimates show that between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen in the area over the past few hours. The heavy rainfall has increased the risk of flash flooding in the region.
