Cold front to bring cooler temperatures this weekend

A cold front is forecast to bring cooler temperatures to the area this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

After the front passes, temperatures are expected to drop, leading to a noticeable chill for residents heading into the weekend.

Officials say warmer weather is expected to return by the middle of next week as high-pressure systems move in.
