Clear Skies Cover Mississippi River Valley and Great Plains

Most of the Mississippi River Valley and much of the Great Plains are under clear skies this evening, according to weather reports.

There are only a few cirrus clouds visible in the region. No storms are expected tonight, weather officials said.

Residents can expect calm weather conditions as the night progresses.
