13-Year-Old Carrson to Star in ‘A Hairy Tale’ at Pontotoc Community Theater
Pontotoc, Miss. — A 13-year-old actor named Carrson is set to perform as Bill in the upcoming production of “A Hairy Tale” at Pontotoc Community Theater.
Carrson has been involved in theater for four years and has appeared in productions including “Velveteen Rabbit,” “The Glass Slipper,” “Hansel and Gretel,” and “Dr. Experimentor and the League of Evil,” according to organizers. They noted that he consistently brings energy and enthusiasm to each performance.
He said one of his favorite aspects of the current show is his comically styled wig, which he described as hilarious. When not rehearsing, Carrson enjoys singing and experimenting with makeup. His favorite animal is a cow, and his favorite food is tacos, organizers added.
The show runs at 106A North Main Street in Pontotoc, with performances scheduled for June 5 at 7 p.m., June 6 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and June 7 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10, cash only at the door, with online sales available up to one hour before each show. Doors open 30 minutes prior to each performance, and seating is general admission.
Organizers encouraged community members to come out and support Carrson and the cast in this fairy tale adventure.
