Virtual SKYWARN class scheduled for Sept. 24

The next SKYWARN class will be held virtually on September 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

The session provides training for weather spotters to identify and report severe weather conditions. Participants are encouraged to register online at weather.gov/meg/skywarn.

SKYWARN is a program that relies on volunteer spotters to help track weather hazards and improve public safety during storms.
