Upcoming Virtual SKYWARN Weather Spotter Training Scheduled for October 5

A virtual SKYWARN weather spotter training session is scheduled for Oct. 5 at 6:30 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

The course aims to educate volunteers on how to identify and report severe weather conditions. Registration is available online at weather.gov/meg/skywarn.

Participants are encouraged to sign up in advance to receive the login details for the virtual session.
