UMMC Offers Friday Night Injury Clinic During High School Football Season

University of Mississippi Medical Center is once again providing its Friday Night Injury Clinic to address injuries sustained during high school football games. The clinic offers after-hours care for injuries that are not severe enough to require emergency room treatment, according to UMMC.

Sports medicine specialists and on-site radiology services are available at the clinic, which evaluates injuries such as broken bones, ligament and tendon tears, and suspected concussions. The clinic operates every Friday during the high school football season from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
