The Tour de Bodock has been postponed due to expected severe weather conditions, organizers announced Tuesday. Heavy rain and strong winds are forecasted for Saturday, making the original event unsafe for participants and volunteers, according to organizers.

The ride has been rescheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17, at the same time and location. Organizers said they consulted with key participants before making the decision.

They acknowledged that changing plans might be difficult for some but emphasized safety as the priority. Organizers expressed hope that attendees will be able to join the new date and look forward to an excellent event next weekend.
