Severe weather risk forecasted for Tennessee River Valley and surrounding areas

A slight risk of severe weather has been issued for parts of the Tennessee River Valley this afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service. The threat level is 2 out of 5, indicating a potential for isolated severe storms.

In addition, a marginal risk, rated 1 out of 5, has been forecast for areas along and east of the Mississippi River. These regions could experience thunderstorms with damaging winds and heavy downpours.
