Severe Thunderstorm Threat Possible in North Mississippi and West Tennessee

A marginal risk for a severe thunderstorm is in place for parts of north Mississippi and West Tennessee this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

The primary threat is damaging wind gusts, forecasters said. The area most at risk includes regions near the Tennessee River.
