Remnants of Hurricane Isaias Expected to Impact Mid-South Thursday

The National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee, is warning residents of the Mid-South about the impact of the remnants of Hurricane Isaias on Thursday.

Tropical storm-force winds are expected in parts of northeastern Mississippi, where a Tropical Storm Warning has been issued, according to the weather service. Elsewhere, a Wind Advisory will be in effect for gusts exceeding 40 mph.

A Flood Watch remains in effect east of the Mississippi River, as heavy rainfall could lead to localized flooding. Residents are advised to stay updated on weather alerts and take necessary precautions.
