Rainfall to Accelerate Ice Melt Across Region

Rainfall scheduled for Tuesday is expected to hasten the melting of ice and sleet across most of the region, meteorologists said.

The precipitation will likely lead to increased runoff and could impact travel conditions, officials warned.

Residents are advised to stay alert for changing weather conditions and to exercise caution while outdoors.
