Pontotoc wastewater plant repair bids due Tuesday

Pontotoc is seeking bids for equipment repairs and replacements at its wastewater treatment plant, with proposals due at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3.

The city’s advertisement in Engineering Solutions’ public planroom identifies the project as wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation. The listing remained open for bids Sunday, Nov. 1.

Sealed bids are to be received at City Hall, 116 N. Main St. The advertisement also permits electronic bids. Contractors should consult the original project listing and bid documents for submission instructions.

The notice allows the city to hold bids for up to 60 days after opening while reviewing proposals and contractor qualifications. It also reserves the city’s right to reject bids.

Engineering Solutions lists Mike Falkner as the project contact.
