Pontotoc Electric seeks cashier for local office

Pontotoc Electric Power Association is hiring a cashier for its office at 12 South Main Street in Pontotoc. The position involves accurately collecting, balancing, documenting, and depositing payments from members for services provided, according to the organization.

The cashier will assist members by phone or in person, providing friendly, courteous, and efficient service. The role also includes informing members about PEPA’s services and programs and promoting the safe and efficient use of electricity.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, or one to two years of related experience and/or training. An equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable.
