Pontotoc County July 4th Parade Route Changes Announced

Pontotoc County officials announced a route change for the upcoming July 4th parade in Pontotoc. The event will start at the Pontotoc Junior High School parking lot, according to a notice posted on social media.

Participants with bikes or battery-operated ride-ons can end their route at the courthouse. All other participants are asked to turn right onto West Green Street and conclude the parade at the parking lot behind Three Rivers or First Baptist Church.

The celebration includes a variety of activities as the community marks America’s 250th birthday. Organizers encouraged residents to join the festivities and enjoy the holiday in Pontotoc County.
