Pontotoc County hosts July 4th celebrations with route change for parade

Pontotoc County officials announced a route change for the upcoming July 4th parade. The parade will start at the Pontotoc Junior High School parking lot, with bike riders and children on battery-operated ride-ons ending at the courthouse.

Participants and attendees are advised to turn right onto West Green Street. The parade will conclude at the parking lot behind Three Rivers or First Baptist Church area, where various festivities will take place.
