Neurosurgeon Dr. Joaquín Hidalgo Recognized During Neurosurgery Awareness Month

Dr. Joaquín Hidalgo, a board-certified neurosurgeon and associate professor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, has been highlighted during Neurosurgery Awareness Month. He provides comprehensive care for both adult and pediatric patients, focusing on complex spine, skull base, and peripheral nerve conditions.

Hidalgo, originally from Venezuela, graduated summa cum laude from medical school before completing his neurosurgical residency at UMMC. He further trained at Johns Hopkins University, specializing in complex neurosurgical procedures.
