National Weather Service Offers In-Person SKYWARN Classes in Mississippi and Tennessee

The National Weather Service Memphis announced additional SKYWARN storm spotter classes after canceling a virtual session. The agency will hold in-person training sessions on October 6 in Tupelo, Mississippi, and October 7 in Trenton, Tennessee, according to a news release.

Participants interested in attending the Trenton class are required to register online at https://nwtn.readyop.com/fs/4dB9/74f38fc1, the release said. The classes aim to educate residents on storm spotting and weather safety.
