Mid-South experiences above-average temperatures in July
July marked the second month of meteorological summer for the Mid-South region. Temperatures during the month were slightly above average at all four primary climate sites—Memphis, Jackson, Tupelo, and Jonesboro, according to local weather data.
Precipitation trends varied by location, with some areas receiving more rain than others. Despite these differences, the region overall experienced a warm summer period so far. Only one month remains in the meteorological summer season.
Weather patterns continue to develop as residents anticipate the transition to fall. The region’s climate data will be analyzed further as the summer season concludes later this year.
