Mid-South braces for return of hot, humid weather next week

Residents of the Mid-South can enjoy cooler, drier weather through Saturday, with high temperatures remaining in the 80s and low 90s, according to meteorologists.

However, a warming trend is expected to develop early next week, bringing hot and humid conditions back to the region, the National Weather Service said.

Officials advise residents to take advantage of the pleasant weather while it lasts and prepare for the return of summer-like conditions soon.
