Marginal risk for severe thunderstorms across Mid-South Wednesday

A marginal risk for severe thunderstorms has been issued across most of the Mid-South region, according to the National Weather Service.

The threat is mainly for damaging winds and is in effect from Wednesday into Wednesday night. The risk level is classified as level 1 out of 5.

Officials advise residents to stay alert for weather updates and be prepared for possible gusts and storm activity during this period.
