HRRR Model Shows Potential Storm Development in NE Oklahoma and SE Kansas

The High-Resolution Rapid Refresh (HRRR) model accurately predicts current storm development over northeastern Oklahoma and southeastern Kansas, according to meteorologists.

Simulated radar images from 4 a.m. through 1 p.m. suggest storms could move into eastern Arkansas and approach the Mississippi River later today.

Officials advise residents in affected areas to stay alert for updates and possible severe weather warnings as conditions evolve.
