Community theater presents ‘The Butler Did It’ this weekend
A community theater company will stage its production of “The Butler Did It” this weekend, offering four performances from October 9 to October 11.
Among the cast is Regina Butler, who plays the role of feisty Granny. She has drawn inspiration from Irene Ryan, known for her role as Granny on “The Beverly Hillbillies,” though Butler says she does not claim to be Ryan. She brings enthusiasm and humor to her performance, according to producers.
Offstage, Butler enjoys reading, crocheting, raising chickens and cats, and making her dogs happy. She also teaches first to third grades at her church and spends time at the ocean with her partner, Jonathan.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/the-butler-did-it or at the box office, which opens 30 minutes before each show.
The performances are scheduled for October 9 at 7 p.m., October 10 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and October 11 at 2 p.m.
