Approximately 10,000 customers remain without power after outage in Pontotoc County

As of 3:15 p.m., about 10,000 customers in Pontotoc County were still without electricity, according to Pontotoc Electric Power Association.

Utility crews are continuing to work to restore power to affected areas. The cause of the outage has not been specified.

Customers are advised to stay safe and report any additional outages to the utility company.
