Winter Storm Brings Heavy Rain and Freezing Conditions to Mid-South

Heavy winter precipitation continues to impact the Mid-South region. Freezing rain has led to widespread power outages in northern Mississippi and southeastern West Tennessee, according to local authorities.

Additionally, heavy sleet is falling across much of West Tennessee and east-central Arkansas. At the local office, nearly 0.9 inches of sleet has accumulated since midnight.
