Wind Advisory issued for parts of northeast Arkansas and Missouri Bootheel

A Wind Advisory has been issued for portions of northeast Arkansas and the Missouri Bootheel, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters reported sustained winds between 25 and 30 mph today, with occasional gusts reaching up to 40 mph.

The advisory is set to remain in effect until 6 p.m. this evening.
