Voters to choose party nominees in March 10 primary election
Voters registered with the Republican and Democratic parties will cast ballots to choose their respective nominees in the March 10 primary election, according to election officials.
The winners will advance to the general election on Nov. 3, along with any qualified third-party or independent candidates. Absentee ballots must be returned by March 7 and can be cast at the Circuit Clerk’s Office, officials said.
Election authorities remind voters to submit absentee ballots by the deadline to ensure their votes are counted in the upcoming primary.
