Student Volunteer applications close Friday at NOAA

Applications for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Student Volunteer program will close this Friday, March 20, according to NOAA.

The program offers current students enrolled in atmospheric science or related fields an opportunity to gain hands-on experience.

Interested individuals or those who know qualified students are encouraged to apply. More information is available on NOAA’s website at http://weather.gov/meg/volunteer.

Applications are due by the end of the day Friday, NOAA said.
