Severe Storm Threat Targets Mid-South Tomorrow
A line of thunderstorms is forecast to impact the Mid-South region Wednesday, the National Weather Service in Memphis said. The storms are expected to arrive as early as 4 p.m. in eastern Arkansas and move over the Tennessee River by midnight.
Officials warn residents to prepare for damaging winds and the potential for spin-up tornadoes as the line of storms progresses through the area. The weather service has issued a full briefing, which is available at: https://www.weather.gov/media/meg/DSSBuilder/WeatherBrief.pdf.
Residents are advised to stay alert and monitor local weather updates as the system approaches. No injuries or specific damage reports have been released at this time.
