Pontotoc Community Theatre presents ‘Treasure Island’ this weekend

Pontotoc Community Theatre will stage its production of ‘Treasure Island’ this weekend, from March 27 to 29. The show features Mary Jenkins in her debut performance with the theatre, portraying the character Belle Gunn.

Jenkins, a longtime theatre enthusiast, is also a data clerk at Pontotoc Public Library. She enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, gardening, and butterfly watching in her free time.

In an interview, Jenkins expressed excitement about her role and the show, which she describes as filled with fun plot twists and surprises. She also hopes audiences will enjoy discovering whether her character, Belle Gunn, finally returns to England.
