Local theater to stage ‘Treasure Island’ this weekend

The community theater company will present performances of ‘Treasure Island’ this weekend. The production features local actor Jon Butler, who plays two roles: Captain Bill Bones and Captain Smollet.

Butler has appeared in numerous productions for the company. When not on stage, he enjoys reading, gardening, and visiting Ocean Springs, according to the theater. He tends to fruit trees and vines in his free time.
