How to Become a CoCoRaHS Volunteer

Becoming a Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network (CoCoRaHS) volunteer is straightforward. Participants need internet access and an approved CoCoRaHS rain gauge, which can be ordered online.

Volunteers should select a flat site with good exposure to rainfall to ensure accurate measurements. They must also be willing to enter daily rainfall totals into the CoCoRaHS system.
