Dust and Wind Advisories Issued for Parts of Arkansas, Missouri, and Tennessee

The National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee, issued a blowing dust advisory for northeast Arkansas and the Missouri Bootheel. The advisory warns that blowing dust could reduce visibility to less than one mile.

Drivers in the affected areas are urged to exercise caution while traveling. In addition, a wind advisory remains in effect for northeast Arkansas, the Missouri Bootheel, and northwest Tennessee, according to the weather service.

The weather service has yet to specify the duration of the advisories or additional safety recommendations.
