Cold front to bring rain and chilly temperatures early in the week

A reinforcing cold front is expected to move through the area Sunday night, according to weather officials. The front will bring additional rain and much cooler temperatures to begin the workweek.

Monday and Tuesday mornings are forecasted to be particularly cold for early spring, with temperatures feeling more like winter than spring, the National Weather Service said.

Residents are advised to prepare for the change in weather, including potential delays and hazardous conditions on the roads during the cold snap.
