Traffic switch on State Route 15 in Union County begins Monday
Crews will switch traffic from two lanes to a four-lane highway on State Route 15 in Union County on Monday at 10 a.m., according to transportation officials.
The change involves the section of SR 15 between the Pontotoc County line and King’s Creek, south of New Albany. The project marks the completion of a four-lane highway connecting Pontotoc and New Albany.
Additionally, traffic signals will be activated at the intersection of SR 15 and SR 762. Motorists are advised to reduce speed and remain alert for roadside crews and changing traffic conditions, officials said.
